How often is recommendation data updated?

Our crawler runs daily and re-indexes every game on Steam — released, upcoming, and early access. Changes usually appear within 24 hours.

A game is missing or has wrong data

We index all apps on the Steam store. If a game is missing or shows incorrect information, email support@steamlikes.co with the Steam app ID or store URL and we'll look into it.

Do I need an account?

No — the catalog is free and requires no account. You only need an account if you want to use Steamlikes bot for daily sales and wishlist reports.

Is Steamlikes affiliated with Valve?

No. Steamlikes is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. All game data is sourced from publicly available Steam store pages.

How do I delete my data?

Email support@steamlikes.co from your account email and ask for deletion. We will remove your account and all associated data within 7 days and confirm by reply. If you don't have an account, there is nothing to delete — the catalog does not store personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

My Slack or Discord app stopped posting reports

Open Settings and check the delivery channel — a red banner with the last error means the webhook was revoked or the channel was deleted on the Slack/Discord side. Remove the channel and reconnect it. If reports are paused globally, unpause from the same page. If neither helps, email us with your account email and the approximate time reports stopped.

How do I change the schedule?

Go to Settings and pick a new report hour. Reports fire once per day at the selected hour in your local timezone. Changes take effect on the next delivery window.

How do I uninstall Steamlikes bot?

For Slack: remove the Steamlikes bot app from your workspace via Settings & administration → Manage apps in Slack. We receive the uninstall event from Slack and automatically delete every delivery channel tied to that workspace. For Discord: delete the webhook from the target channel's integration settings, then remove the channel from Settings. To remove your account entirely, email us.

Do I need a Steam Partner account?

Yes. Steamlikes bot connects to the Steamworks Partner API, which requires an API key from your Steam Partner account. If your game is on Steam — or close to launching — you already have access to this.
