The Steam bundlemarket, measured.
Every active bundle on Steam — priced, cross-referenced, and indexed against the catalog. Built for publishers deciding whether, when, and how to bundle.

CTS base-discount tiers
How steeply tiered Complete-the-Set bundles are (bundle_base_discount).
Most CTS bundles use a modest 5–10% base tier; 25%+ is rare.
What fraction of the Steam catalog gets bundled?
Coverage sliced three ways: by Like Score tier, by tag, and by price tier. Where bundles reach, and where they don't.
By Like Score tier
% of games in each quality tier that appear in ≥1 active bundle.

How we compute this
Source, scope, refresh cadence, and classification rules.Open →
Source — every bundle at store.steampowered.com/bundle/<id>. We re-resolve via Steam's public ajaxresolvebundles endpoint. No partner / authenticated APIs are used.
Refresh — discovery runs weekly to find newly-created bundles; active bundles are re-resolved daily. A bundle is marked inactive once Steam stops returning it.
Scope — “bundles” here means multi-game Steam bundles: Regular, Complete the Set, Franchise, and Weekly Deal. Game-plus-DLC packages live in a separate namespace and are not counted.
Prices & discount — US dollars only. Discount depth is Steam's own discount_percent, which is the bundle price vs. the sum of each item's current price. Prices shown are “for a new buyer who owns none of the games”.
Publisher structure — “single-publisher” means the bundle has exactly one creator clan ID attached; “cross-publisher” means two or more. Both are exact classifications from Steam's creator_clan_ids array, not inferred.
Complete the Set vs. Flat — Steam exposes bundle_base_discount. When it's greater than zero, the bundle uses Steam's tiered “buy more, save more” pricing (Complete the Set). When it's zero, the bundle applies a single flat % discount.
Historical trends — snapshots are written daily (on-change only) starting 2026-04-17. The “market over time” section is off in v1 and will light up once ~30 days of data have accumulated.
